Have you ever wonder how large yachts and catamarans are delivered from the shipyard to their home port…it is simple, by the sea. While some monohul yachts can be delivered to any location by road using specialised trailers, other vessels need experienced crew to deliver them the way they were built for. Safe delivery of the yacht depends on good preparation of documentation, safety equipment, good communication with the shipyard and the crew. The delivery crew will make sure that the yacht is reasonably used/sailed. Although 24-hour sail is expected, briefly stops of necessity may be made (fuel, provisions and severe weather conditions). Safety is our first priority so yacht owners can be certain that the yacht will be delivered the best possible way.
